Bay & Bow

Bay and Bow windows are window combinations that project outward from the home. They can be made from any combination of Picture, Casement and Double Hung windows. They can replace a flat wall of windows or be installed in a new opening to add a dramatic change to your room without much remodeling. Bay and Bow windows are made to be energy efficient with insulated head and seat boards. Bay and Bow windows are custom build for your specific opening. You can also choose to have a custom roof made for the top or just have it capped up to the soffit. The bottom of the window is typically finished in a way to compliment the current exterior. The interior head and seat is usually made from a wood like Oak, Pine or Maple to best match your trim work which can be painted or stained.

Bay windows are a combination of 3 windows arranged by a defined “flanker” angle and projection from the home. The flanker windows are the ones on the left and right. The center window is usually the largest.

Bow windows are usually made from three or more window combinations and are arranged in a radius and defined projection from the home. Most bow windows have four or five windows of the same size.
